It’s official. Legal, even. On May 31, 2024, The Canadian Bar Insurance Association (CBIA) became Lawyers Financial. This might not feel like a big change—after all, we introduced the Lawyers Financial brand in 2017— but it’s a change we made with every member of the Canadian legal community in mind.
Today, the products and services we sponsor extend beyond insurance to include pro bono financial planning and best-in-class investment solutions. We can help you plan, invest, and protect—and we needed a name that reflects the breadth of services available to lawyers, their families, and their firms.
