On behalf of the Board of Directors of CBIA – Lawyers Financial, I am pleased to announce our appointment of Ms. Dawn Marchand as our President and CEO, effective November 22, 2019. Ms. Marchand has served as interim President and CEO since late September and was previously our VP, Marketing, Product and Client Experience. She has been in the financial services industry for more than 25 years, having worked at some of Canada’s largest insurance and investment providers in a variety of senior roles.
With her deep understanding of association-sponsored programs and her considerable history with Lawyers Financial, the Board is confident that under Dawn’s leadership, Lawyers Financial will continue in its long-standing commitment to be the trusted provider of insurance and financial products to lawyers, their families, and employees in Canada.
